Becoming Slovenian

Statues of Living People

My hosts at MKSMC are ‘pod stresom’ (under stress) with the finale of their Koperground Festival. Tonights’ unveiling of The Statues of Living People, temporarily installed in a public seaside park alongside bronze busts of three dead National Heroes, finds the most serene members of the scene taking stock of their work. I would call the sculpting process of Marko and Rok zen-like in its rigor, and it was a pleasure to watch.

Ok I was a little jealous and I would have liked to help.
