Becoming Slovenian

Far and Wide

I met an artist named Eva Sajovic today, a Slovene visiting her hometown of Postojna from London, where she now lives with her British husband and kids. She is also working with concepts of self-representation and identity as related to place and placelessness, notions of home, and even worked with an ethnographic museum for her recent project, Collecting Home. I’m finding a lot of inspiration in her past projects documented here.

The image is the poster from Collecting Home.
